Enjoy one of the most beautiful walks on the island of Madeira.
This hike starts in Machico and your arrival point is in Porto da Cruz village, it is an easy walk and has the time of about 4 hours. The beginning of the walk passes through an area of agricultural plantations, with various types of vegetables. And then we entered the Laurissilva forest we began to observe a contrast of the green of the forest.Once we reach the forest we pass the most beautiful landscape of the trek, a view of the sea and the mountain at the same time, is a true natural therapy.
This walk has a very interesting history because for many years it was used by people to travel between the port of Cruz and the city of Machico in order to do their trade. It is one of the most beautiful places on the island.
