Description
This hike starts in an exotic forest, offers spectacular views of São Jorge in Santana, all the way through the Levada do Rei. From half way, the levada that runs the slope from the interior of the island. , traverses an area of well-developed natural forest rich in natural biodiversity.
The levada covered with lush vegetation and the wide variety of species, as well as the presence of the beautiful levada, are good examples of the island’s natural, built and cultural heritage.
Arriving at Ribeiro Bonito, where we stop to enjoy a unique place, in the middle of the Laurissilva forest, listening to the birds singing and the water running in the stream.
At the end of the walk we stop at a typical place on the island of Madeira.
